As part of the mission trip to the Pacific the delegation is tasked to learn of the UN supported initiatives in the region and how it is addressing interconnected themes of food and nutrition security, health, and how Small Island Developing States are managing frequent and intensifying disasters as well as adapting and mitigating climate change impacts.
Through the humanitarian work that MORDI has been involved extensively in over the years since 2018, it has received funding from the Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). These have been made possible through the unwavering support and partnership of CARE Australia.
